For the Starbucks contest.


My cup is about having a good time inside of nature with FRIENDS and ANIMALS.

It's really cool for me when I see animals like deers and rabbits and stuff because I don't see them often.

Sitting in the sunlight feels better in the grass than it does when you're on the asphalt.

Slowly developing an obsession with the trees...

But since I spend most of my time in places of the city-like variety, the foreign bacteria from the wild almost always makes me sick afterwards. Still worth it.

Tried to make the characters look energetic and goofy. I don't think I am used to drawing in this style, though.

If I were the judge, I would take in to consideration the amount of time taken, how original it is, how happy it is, and you score high in all my three categories =) I really like that you used many shades of browns, greens and yellows. My favorite part is the heart. Gosh I can't believe it didn't make it.

I REALLY like this entry. I saw it awhile back when I was browsing through the entries and I was sure it would be a semi-finalist. I'm disappointed because I love everything about it. I love the color scheme you chose and the wooden texture on the cup. Its awesome.
